Amani Eco Park — also known as Amani Resort EcoPark — is a recently opened eco-resort on the Route de Matadi, in the Mitendi neighbourhood, commune of Mont-Ngafula. The site presents itself as one of Kinshasa's first eco-resort concepts: a nature park combining relaxation, a mini-safari, dining and on-site accommodation. About 25 km from the city centre, it is one of the most accessible nature outings from Gombe without leaving the province of Kinshasa.
What you'll find
Park entrance is set at $10 per person (adult) and $5 per person (child), giving access to the nature area, shared facilities and free-play games (football, frisbee, darts, basketball). The mini-safari, the site's highlight with its animal reserve, is charged separately at $15 per person, as is the pool, at $7 per person. Several activities are available on request: quad biking ($15, 20 min), horse riding ($15, 30 min), camel riding ($15, 30 min), cycling ($10, 20 min), pedal boats ($5, 15 min), trampoline ($5, 1h), table tennis ($10, 30 min), billiards ($10 per session) and table football ($5, 10 balls). A children's playground, on-site dining and chalet accommodation round out the offer.
The site positions itself as an "eco-resort at the heart of nature", combining relaxation, safari and accommodation. The concept remains in its launch phase, having opened on a soft opening basis over 2025–2026.
Who it suits
Well suited to families with children (mini-safari, playground), groups of friends for a day in nature, and couples for a quiet weekend with on-site accommodation. The eco-resort format sets it apart from other parks in Mont-Ngafula: here you can stay overnight, which is not the case at Mbudi Nature or Africa Park Aventure.
When to go
The park is open on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The dry season (May to October) remains the most favourable period: trails and the safari area are easier to access, and the heat is milder than in the rainy season.
Budget for a day
Return transport with Kino Congo: $125 for a car of up to 6 people, roughly $21 per person in a group. Park entrance: $10 per person. For a simple nature outing (transport and entrance only), expect around $31 per person. Adding the safari ($15) and the pool ($7) brings the budget per person to around $53. Dining and other à la carte activities (quad, horse, camel, bike, pedal boat…) add on top depending on what you choose.
Mont-Ngafula: an accessible nature cluster

Amani Resort & Eco Park remains a young site, still growing, with strong potential for the seasons ahead. For a weekend with a chalet overnight stay, it's best to book in advance: accommodation capacity is limited. Booking can be made either through Kino Congo or directly with Amani.
