The Académie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa is one of the oldest artistic teaching institutes in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It is located at 1013, Avenue de la Libération (formerly 24 November), in the commune of Gombe.

Founded in 1943 by Belgian missionary Marc Stanislas Wallenda under the name École Saint-Luc at Gombe-Matadi (Kongo Central), it was transferred to Léopoldville (now Kinshasa) in 1949 and took its current name in 1957.

The Académie offers training in painting (from 1950), ceramics (1953), metalwork (1971), advertising (1970), interior design (1970) and conservation-restoration of artworks (2013). It displays original sculptures, oil paintings and works by students and teachers. Visitors can watch artists at work and speak with them directly.
